Inspired by the spirit of records and films like Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii, Neil Young’s Le Noise, and Nick Cave’s Idiot Prayer, we liked the idea of capturing a real performance without an audience. No applause, no distractions, and no need to pretend there was a crowd in the room. Just musicians playing songs together and letting the cameras and microphones catch what happens.
